And have you taken part to the seminar about “New ways of youth participation” in Strasbourg? It took place from March 16 to March 18 at the European Youth Centre. It has produced a document that has been published by the Council of Europe (CoE). Is it useful?

Furthermore confectionery products such as Chiwda, pista or American Halwa, pista or dry fruit chikki, Kaju pista Barfi, banarasi paan and silver kharik. What I could find interesting are Indian and Bengali sweets too such as Rasgulla sweets, but also rajbhog sweets, Soan papdi, Papad behl and Gulab jamun.

No sound for Asian Britain?Save the BBC Asian Network and 6 Music! From a blog and a deejay with a post of some months ago:
Trust has received 1000 complaints to keep Asian Network open. This is ridiculous. The station is key to the Asian music scene. Seems apathy has reared its ugly head in regards to Save BBC Asian Network. Come on everyone, we can do better than 1000 complaints. EMAIL srconsultation@bbc.co.uk NOW to Save BBC Asian Network. Just be honest. Keep it simple or state your reasons for not closing it down.
Douglas Alexander, Ed Balls, Mike Smithson and SNP in an article by Nick Cohen for the Observer, but, above all, two sentences like
In foreign policy, too few people again realise that the Liberal Democrats are not true internationalists but a Fortress Europe party indifferent to the needs of those suffering beyond the EU’s walls. Thus they opposed the second Iraq war for good reasons, but offered no support to Iraqi liberals and democrats hoping for something better after 30 years of unremitting tyranny.
But also in this article Evan Harris and Norman Lamb are quoted as well as Vince Cable and the Institute for Fiscal Studies.

An excerpt from this text is also what I write now: “But Lincoln was struck down the following month and the Bureau was officially abolished in 1872. Consequently, from 1877 to 1965, States and localities enacted “Jim Crow laws” thereby stifling Lincoln’s vision of assisting the refugees (mostly former slaves). It would take 99 years for the US Civil Rights Act of 1964 to renew what Lincoln began”. Have a nice reading…

Is effective the work of a goodwill ambassador? Anyway, there would be areas who are now out of bounds for aid troops in Afghanistan…

01.12.2008– There was a lot of water in Venice. Here’s the “Historic Center of Venice Flooded” as an American newspaper – the New York Times – refers. More or less the same text in the British Guardian and another English newspaper, The Telegraph, gives some advice for travellers. Bbc News uses some photos or titles “Venice is hit by serious flooding” and Cnn “Parts of Venice neck deep in flood water” or AlJazeera “Venice hit by severe flooding”. Instead, the Huffington Post chooses “Venice Hit By Worst Flooding In More Than 20 Years” and Euronews “Flooding alert in Venice”.
