The very famous soul singer was laid to rest and there were at the ceremony – as I was informed by the online version of the Sunday newspaper – the famous rapper MC Hammer and the Rev Jesse Jackson. James Brown and tourism. Augusta, Georgia, James Brown and tourism.
01.12.2008 I would like to remember here in this blog the soul singerJames Brown who died on Christmas Day on 2006. The “Godfather of Soul” was 73 and made his debut at a venue. Moreover, the director Spike Lee would have thought of making a film about him and Brown would have approved the use of his own music on the soundtrack. The film should be directed in this year and the project should be overseen by the Oscar-winning producer of A beautiful Mind Brian Grazer.

Beyoncé and six Grammys. Well, what do you think of Beyoncé’s winning six Grammys? Four of them for the Song of the Year, Best R&B Song and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance – Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) – and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for Halo…
R&B. Or do you like At Last or I am… Sasha Fierce and and are they worth the Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance or the Best Contemporary R&B Album? A video in an article by Sam Jones and Simone Whey, photos and these awards and UK charts.
Taylor Swift. Her single White Horse, female country vocal and country song.
Destiny’s Child and London. And what about Beyoncé Knowles’ group, the Destiny’s Child, or London’s Notting Hill Carnival? And there also should be a “bad advice” (“Though we shouldn’t forget that she also collected a hefty fee to perform for Colonel Gaddafi’s son on New Year’s Eve, perhaps the result of bad advice.”). This sentence is quoted from an article by The Guardian’s Music Blog by Rosie Swash.
Notting Hill carnival and Major Lazer. Diplo and Switch (aka Major Lazer) and the Notting Hill carnival (a video). Please do not see necessarily who is the sponsor…

Barroso. The president of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso, is convinced of the necessity of “multilateral responses to global challenges, from the financial and economic crises to peace and security, including in the Middle East, development challenges, and of course the defining struggle of our generation: to stop and reverse climate change”. The Usa, the E.U. and other countries like Russia, China, India and so on… Multilateral responses…
Youth Ball. Obama’s feast and his day have also meant the Youth Inaugural Ball with the singer Kanye West, a band, the actress Demi Moore and the actor Tobey Maguire. Moreover, there were also the rocker Kid Rock, R&B singer Usher and the presenters Sway and Rosario Dawson.
Inaugural: music, a choice and slaves.Obama‘s final steps to his journey to the White House mean music as well as we can hear in this Euronews’ report. And the new president of the United States does not plan to follow the choice between security and American ideals, as the Washington Post and the Guardian websites write. The British newspaper refers also to slavery and lets Obama become less “saviour” to me.

Ibiza, Bali and snorkelling. How are Ibiza, the White Isle and the Rough Guide to this town? And Indonesia, Bali and the island of Gili Trawangan? Maybe it should not be very far from Lombok and the Padang area of Sumatra and, so far as I know, snorkelling may be practiced there.

Besides, in Sicily there is always an occasion to see a Madonna and there are also other Sicilian photos, but… another time.
