03.12.09 Almeno dodici anni di lavoro alle spalle. Non è poco, ma questo è quello che richiede il bando per un posto di caposettore per la Gestione dei dati di prodotto all’Emea di Londra, l’Agenzia europea per i medicinali. La scadenza? Ehm, oggi, giovedì tre dicembre. Condizioni generali, modulo e traduzione del modulo nelle altre lingue Ue.

Molto specialistica, invece, la formazione per il posto di amministratore (specialista Sap, gestore di progetto Sap) con modulo e traduzione modulo. Altrettanto specializzata e “confinata” la ricerca di un amministratore, architetto di software / guida tecnica (o forse qualcos’altro). Modulo e traduzione. Infine, nessun commento sull’incarico di amministratore, gestore di progetto e sviluppo delle tecnologie informatiche e dell’informazione. Solo il modulo e la traduzione.

30.11.09 Forse voi avrete i titoli richiesti perché si tratta di un tipo di lavoro abbastanza diffuso. Assistente risorse umane all’Echa di Helsinki (Finlandia) con presentazione delle domande entro oggi, lunedì trenta novembre. Bando, modulo e curriculum sia in word che in pdf e forse sarà magari importante sapere che l’Echa è l’Agenzia europea per la chimica.

Gli stessi anni di esperienza lavorativa sono necessari per un incarico di addetto senior di progetto per la sorveglianza marittima all’Emsa di Lisbona, Portogallo (Agenzia europea per la sicurezza marittima).

26.11.09 Causa serissima e profondissima stanchezza, rivelasi tendenza a fornire questa volta minori particolari sulle offerte di lavoro. Ovviamente scherzo, ma eccovi un’offerta per addetto alla programmazione all’Eniac di Bruxelles, Belgio, per il quale le domande dovranno essere inviate entro domani, venerdì ventisette novembre. C’è anche un’offerta per un assistente all’unità Revisione interna / Gestione e controllo della qualità della Frontex di Varsavia (Polonia).

In quest’ultimo caso il bando si rivolge a chi è in possesso di laurea almeno triennale (o formazione professionale adeguata), buona conoscenza di una lingua comunitaria e dell’inglese e soddisfacente di un’altra oltre che esperienza nel settore. Necessario, invece, presentare la domanda per un incarico di consulente legale di supporto alla Fusion for Energy di Barcellona (Fusione per l’energia) entro mezzogiorno dello stesso giorno.

26.11.09 – Barcelona, Brussels and Warsaw. Well, I am tired and this time only a few details. Legal Officer Support at the Fusion for Energy in Barcelona, Spain, with closing date fixed for tomorrow – Friday, November 27 – at midday, local time. Programme Officer at the ENIAC JU in Brussels, Belgium, amd an Assistant at the Frontex in Warsaw, Poland, with deadline fixed for November 27.

26.11.09 – Cologne. Maybe you will be interested, but I will not apply for a post of Communications Officer – Internal Communications at the EASA from Cologne. Well, I have applied for a lot of years and no selection, but you may be chosen by the European Aviation Safety Agency. Please also take into consideration that you have to apply till the closing date, which is Thursday, November 26.

23.11.09 – Vienna. Surely at least nine years of professional experience could be quite a lot for sone of us. And also completed university studies in a three-year-course or more. That is what is required to apply for a post of Planning Manager and the closing date is Monday, November 23, at 1pm local time. Where? In Vienna, Austria, at the FRA, Fundamental Rights Agency. Scientific Programme Officer at the CoE, Council of Europe, in Strasbourg, France, with deadline fixed for November 23. Be aware: awareness is required about the context and regulations within the pharmaceutical and medical domains.

19.11.09 – Alicante. A reserve list for the post of Procurement and/or Inventory Assistant at the OAMI in Alicante, Spain. Deadline on Thursday, November 19, local time.

16.11.09 – Head or director? Becoming it is not easy. Well, at least twelve years of professional experience are quite a lot, but the job seems to be be quite important – being Head of Technical Training Department at the EASA in Cologne, Germany. This is an EU institution and the deadline of this job offer is Monday, November 16. I wish you really good luck!

The next job is, instead, addressed to all of you who are specialized in economics. It is a post of Market Infrastructure Expert at the ECB, the European Central Bank, which – if I am not wrong – should be based in Frankfurt, Germany. Closing date is  Tuesday 17 November.

Is it easy to become Director of the PMO in Brussels? I think it really isn’t with at least 15 years of professional experience required, but you could not agree with me. Anyway, you should apply till midday – I suppose, Brussels time – of Wednesday November 18. Will you apply?

About more than a week to apply for two posts of Research Officer at the Frontex in Warsaw, Poland, the European Agency that deals with external borders. Here’s the application form and the deadline is Tuesday July 7. Nine years of professional experience required and sending by traditional mail…

09.07.09 – Vienna. Just two job offers with deadline July 9 at 1 pm and a lot of them for the next day. The first and second offers come from FRA (Fundamental Rights Agency), based in Vienna, Austria, and concern a Programme Manager for Social Research (notice and application form) and a so-called Seconded National Expert (notice and application form), who has to work in a public administration.

Please be aware that the EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) has postponed the deadlines to apply for some posts. The dates changed from June 18, 25 or 26 to Friday July 10 for the posts of Processing and Proofreading Assistant, Large Aeroplane Project Certification Manager (in this last case now even to July 17), Economic Analysis Assistant and Risk and Impact Assessment Expert (in this last case deadline postponed to August 10). Please refer to what I have written below for these job offers.

Furthermore, there is another offer from this institution based in Cologne, Germany – concerning posts of Coordination Assistants with the deadline postponed to July 24. You have to have at least nine years of relevant professional experience…

Barcelona. If you are an engineer, you may then apply for a post of Planning Engineer for Fusion for Energy, the European Joint Undertaking for ITER, a project to get energy from nuclear fusion. Application forms have to be sent till Friday, July 10, at midday, Barcelona time. And you could obviously work in Barcelona…

03.07.09 Two deadlines postponed from a day of June to Friday July 3…

From external relations and a change to the economics. The ECB – please see below for more information about this bank – seeks students and recent graduates for an internship. They have to be specialised or interested in financial auditing and have a master’s degree in economics, finance, business administration or similar courses. The deadline to apply is Wednesday July 1 and you will start working on 1 September or later for six months.

Senior professionals in academia, central banks and research institutions? Then the Wim Duisenberg Research Fellowship could be a good choice for you. You would conduct economic research in the Directorate General Research (DG-R) and the ECB in Frankfurt – Germany (European Central Bank) – would offer you an assignment for a period of between three and eleven months next year. You may apply till Tuesday June 30.

Are you a Greek-Language Interpreter? The EU has opened two competitions for the so-called grades AD5 and AD7 till Tuesday June 30 at midday (Brussels time). Here the application forms for the first and the second job and the Official Journal and the general rules.

Respectively at least twelve and fifteen years of professional experience are required for two posts of Head of Unit and Director, respectively at the CFCA in Vigo, Spain (Community Fisteries Control Agency), and at the ECDC in Stockholm, Sweden (European Centre for Disease prevention and Control). 29.06.09 – Parma. Do you possess a scientific university degree in fields concerning health, chemistry and biology? Then you might consider a call for external experts at the EFSA in Parma, Italy (European Food Safety Authority)… The last day to apply is Monday, June 29…

Barcelona and more. You may apply till Thursday June 25 for some posts at the EASA in Cologne, Germany, like Large Aeroplane Project Certification Manager, Administrative Assistant and Administrative Secretary, Continuing Airworthiness Standardisation Team Leader and SAFA Coordination Section Manager (SAFA is a Community programme). There is another deadline approaching – Friday June 26 – for the posts of Processing and Proofreading Assistant at the same institution and Expert in Skills Analysis and Forecasting and Senior Expert – in the same field – at the Cedefop in Thessaloniki, Greece. The same date is the last one to apply for two posts of Database Administrator or Engineering Software Support Officer at the Fusion for Energy in Barcelona, Spain.

06.07.09 – Cologne. After the job offers around June 14 and last months, here’s some other posts at the EASA – European Aviation Safety Agency – in Cologne, Germany, till Monday, June 22. You have to submit your application by traditional mail for a General Support Officer (Business/Public administration studies, European studies or Law and knowledge of the European Commission general regulations concerning the aviation field).

Some of you who are reading this text may also apply to become Third Country Operator Authorisations Officers (coordinating and liaising with the Finance and Business directorate and advantageous a knowledge of European aviation safety regulations and the so-called SARPS or EC Reg. 2042/2003 and ICAO Annex 8).

This sector also offers another possibility of working as Third Country Operator Authorisations Team Leaders (nine years of professional experience). You have to have nine years as a worker too to become a FSTD Standardisation Team Leader (Flight Simulation Training Devices) or three years to be a Maintenance Review Board Expert – and in both these two cases the selection is postponed till July 6. Polish language. Now let’s move to the next day, Tuesday June 23, at midday (Brussels time). The field concerns this time Polish-Language Conference Interpreters and here there are the way to apply, the general rules and the Official Journal. This is the so-called grade AD5, and there is also the grade AD7 for these interpreters (how to apply and, for the general rules and the Official Journal, please see above).

16.06.09 – Boards of Appeal. Now we have reached June 19… You need 15 years of work experience – and 8 in the field of intellectual property – to have much more possibilities to be one of the three Chairpersons of the Boards of Appeal at OHIM in Alicante, Spain.

Besides, you would have more possibilities if you are an expert on trade marks and designs and advantages would be a university degree in law and thorough knowledge of English or German. Just to let you to know, the exact name of the institution is Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market… You may also apply by e-mail and these are the application form and the examples of required diplomas.

Six Members of the Boards of Appeal are also required with 15/5 years of professional experience and other similar criteria – please see above. Here there are the vacancy notice and the application form.

From Spain to another different country of Europe – Denmark with its capital, Copenhagen – where a selection for a Project Manager in the field  of Marine and Maritime Assessment is opened for workers who have preferably a university degree  in marine biology or oceanography and three years of work experience. Here’s the vacancy notice, but please pay attention to the deadline that is June 19 at midday, local time.

21.06.09 – Leading. Delayed to Wednesday June 24 the deadline to apply for two posts at the EASA in Cologne, Germany. At the European Aviation Safety Agency you might become Production Organisation Approval Team Leader or Production Organisation Approval Officer. You may also apply for the same institution for a post of Help Desk Assistant, after the deadline was postponed from June 5 to Friday June 19. Till Thursday June 18 you may also take part to the selection of an Economic Analysis Assistant and a Risk and Impact Assessment Expert.

An ALDE Hearing on aviation security measures. ALDE stands for “Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe.

At that seminar several associations, societies and MEPs took part such as the Association of European Airlines (Nathalie Herbelles), Aeroporti Sistema del Garda (the General Director Claudio Boccardo), the European Travel Retail Council (its president Frank O’ Connel), the Directorate-General for Transports and Energy of the European Commission (Marjeta Jager) and the Lufthansa Security (its director Peter Andres). From a language from East Europe to seconded national experts. The ERA, the European Railway Agency based in Valenciennes (France), would like to estabilish a reserve list for a post concerning the Cross acceptance sector with the deadline fixed for Wednesday, June 17. Please be careful because SNEs – seconded national experts – have to work for public administrations.

It will be everyday life if you speak the Estonian language and you are an interpreter. It won’t and it will be curious if you do not. The EU opened a competition for Estonian-Language Conference Interpreters with the deadline fixed for tomorrow, June 16, at midday (Brussels time). The grade is in this case the so-called AD5, while there is also the grade AD7 for the Estonian-Language Conference Interpreters (here the link to apply, the general rules and the Official Journal).

12.06.09 Only a day before the last job offers. Until Monday, June, 15, you may apply though e-mail for a post and by traditional mail for five or six other posts.  In the first case you will send your application form to the Eurojust, based in Den Haag in the Netherlands, for a post of  Budget Coordinator.

The next day – Wednesday, June 11 – the Joint Research Centre of Ispra in Italy closes the competition for a grant in “Detecting and monitoring maritime traffic and oil pollution”. The candidates should be university students – or former students – in signal processing, electrical engineering, physics, remote sensing, and so on. The Eurofound, based in Dublin (Ireland), is seeking to recruit a Programmer Analyst and a Research Manager till tomorrow, Sunday June 7. 02.06.09 Another language for the EU… The Council of the European Union and the EU Commission organise two competitions for Heads of unit in the field of translation from or to Irish. You may apply to work in Brussels till tomorrow, June 3, and here there is the notification of open competition.

If you have some competence in the fields of railway transport, safety or project officing, then you should know the ERA (European Railway Agency), based in Valencienne and Lille, France, invites to apply for a reserve list for Project officers in the field of railway safety. Application forms must be sent by e-mail and these are the vacancy notice and the grid for the post. Below, instead, other competitions concerning EU institutions or other posts.

01.06.09 – Europe. Languages for the EU till tomorrow, June 2. The Directorate-General for Interpretation is seeking interpreters for the Spanish language (here what you should do and the application form), Czech language (again what you should do and the application form), Latvian language (here the procedures and the application form), Polish language (here the “path” for the so called grade AD5 and the application form). Moreover, if you have more competence, there is also the other “path” and the application form for the grade AD7…

The EU has also open competitions for administrators in the field of data protection (grade AD6). Here there are a corrigendum, the general rules and the page of the Official Journal of the EU (which is a page about laws and acts). The selection also concerns grade AD9 and assistants in the same field. In this cases you should know that the page of the Official Journal and the general rules are the same as those above. And please be careful: for all these three selections you should apply till tomorrow, June 2, at 12 at noon (Brussels time).

29.05.09 – Brussels. Closing date May 29 for an Executive Director in Brussels (Belgium). He or she will work at the FCH JU (Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking), a public-private partnership between the EU and a grouping in the field of the hydrogen joint technology. Moreover, you should be graduate and have at least 15 years of professional experience, five of which in the field. You may send your documents per e-mail or post.

The European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) calls for application for a post of Scientific analyst on best practice. The contract is valid for five years and is renewable. You should be a graduate in particular fields and have a three-year work experience. If you would like to work as a secretary or live in a beautiful city like Vienna, Austria, a job as a Senior Personal Assistant to the Director of FRA (Agency for Fundamental Rights) could be your right choice. You are rquired nine years of professional experience, six of which in similar positions. This criterium may vary if you are not a graduate and you can read the vacancy notice for much more information and, then, fill in the grid or maybe read the instructions. 25.05.09 – Parma. From May 25 to May 28. New selections for you here and this time in Italy. The EFSA – European Food Safety Authority – has set up a procedure for a reserve list for a Senior Assistant. The chosen candidate could work in Parma in the Scientific Cooperation and Assistance and Risk Assessment Directorates. Here more details and the form and you have to apply online through this page.

If you are an academic, then maybe you would like to know the EUI – European University Institute – would like to appoint a Research Assistant in Florence with a Ph. D. in Economic History for its Department “History and Civilization”. You would work full time for six months from 15 September of this year and you would be directed by prof. Giovanni Federico about the so-called “ERC project, Market integration and the welfare of Europeans”. 24.05.09 – Brussels and Cologne. A lot of selection procedures for tomorrow, May 25. The EESC (European Economic and Social Committee) published four vacancy notices for Seconded National Experts – workers of Public Administration – for its Directorate General Affairs, the DCWB (Directorate Consultative Work “B”), the Unit Online Information and the Department Communication. The EESC is based in Brussels (Belgium), while another EU institution offering a job – the EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) – is based in Cologne, Germany.

It invites to apply for the post of SAFA Standardisation Auditor where SAFA stands for a programme by the European Commission. Well, after having proposed the job offers at some EU institutions, here a long list of other selections that may be of interest for you.

19.05.09 – The Hague. Tomorrow, Wednesday May 20, is the last day to apply for three selections for an ICT Project Officers, an ICT Expert and a Senior Project Manager by the Eurojust, the EU’s Judicial Cooperation Unit based in The Hague (the Netherlands).

Instead, researchers and policy-makers may participate to the CPR Award (Cultural Policy Research Award) by the ENCATC (European Network of Cultural Administration Training Centers). Please hurry up until Saturday May 23…

17.05.09 Parma and Warsaw this time. The EFSA, the European Food Safety Authority based in Parma (Italy), would like to estabilish a reserve list for Senior Scientific Officers with full vacancy details here and the vacancy form here. The Frontex, the European agency for the external EU borders, has published a vacancy notice for a Relex Officer who will work in Poland. The deadline is tomorrow, Monday May 18, and more opportunity of working for you below…

15.05.09 – Lisbon. Other job offers in Europe for you. The EMSA (European Maritime Safety Agency) calls for applications for the recruitment of a Project Officer for Vessel Traffic Monitoring who will work in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. He or she will have a four-year-course university degree (or a three-year-course university degree with at least three years of appropriate professional experience), knowledge of English, another language of the EU and of the maritime traffic monitoring sector as well as of the EU institutions. A relevant experience of at least three years is also required and here there is the call for applications. Moreover, it is also important that the application form should be sent by registered mail by Friday, May 15.

If your experience concerns economics, mathematics or statistics, then fifteen administrator posts within Eurostat could be an occasion for you to apply. The place of work will be Luxembourg and candidates have to have obtained a four-year course university diploma in the fields above (or a three-year-course university degree with at least one year of appropriate professional experience), good knowledge of English and French and at least nine years’ of work after the award of the university degree and five years of them in the sector or in other fields (national accounts/main aggregates, national accounts methodology, institutional sectors’ accounts or supply, use and input/output tables as well as balance payments, financial accounts and balance sheets).

If your education and work experience corresponds to the requirements, then you may apply through a website and you need to have an EPSO account (European Personnel Selection Office) that you may create through this website. The deadline is the same as above, but at midday, and that is also valid for the offer – except for the hour – of EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency). This EU institution needs a Budget Liaison Officer for its unique office in Cologne (Germany). The candidate should have obtained a three-year university degree in public/general/business administration with a focus on finance and/or accounting or even professional training – with work experience -with a focus on the same sectors. Knowledge of English and of another language, ability to analyse budgetary and/or financial information and familiarity with EU administrative procedures and terminology are also required. Application forms could be sent by registered mail and here there is the vacancy notice for the offer about a temporary agent and other previous invitations.

Interested to work in the railway field? The ERA (European Railway Agency) invites to apply for a post of Quality Officer in Valenciennes in France. You have to apply until tomorrow May 14 only by sending your application form to this mailbox. Here there is the vacancy notice and some of the elegibility criteria are a university diploma for a three-year course, knowledge of English and another European language and at least six years of professional experience after having obtained the university degree.

As for work criteria these ones are an experience in the field, risk management key principles and tools and in the implementation of quality management systems such as ISO 9001:2000, TQM and EFQM. Other essential selection criteria are a good knowledge of business planning and reporting principles and tools, computer literacy and familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, internet, etcetera.

If you have much more work experience, then another invitation by the ERA could be addressed to you for a post of Head of Sector in the Safety Unit. You have to have at least twelve years of professional experience after the award of a university degree in engineering, science, law or similar, and five of them in positions relevant for the post. You have to have managed teams or projects, have experience in implementation and/or auditing of management systems and in international working groups or projects. A very good knowledge of English, computer literacy and familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail and internet are required and the conditions to apply are the same as the previous posts I referred to. Last, but not least, this is the vacancy notice for this post.

This time only a few particulars about a post in Cologne, Germany, at the EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency). The institution of the European Union invites to apply for a job as Head of Standardisation Department and the deadline is today, May 11. I hope to write more about this post in the next hours and here there are other offers in the next lines…

Looking for a job in Europe? I already wrote of some job offers by EU institutions and here there are other ones by other institutions… Here’s what I wrote first and then other job opportunities with May 4 and 5 as a deadline.

Let’s start from the EFSA, based in Parma, Italy, that is searching a Senior scientific officer. You have, however, to hurry up if you would like to be a candidate because you may apply till tomorrow, Thursday April 30. Other offers with the same deadline are at the Danish EEA – project officer and project manager – or at the Greek ENISA – a junior expert and a junior expert in awareness raising.

HR and finance. The EMSA in Lisbon – Portugal – is searching a Senior Human Resources officer, a Financial/budget officer for operational activities, a Project Officer and a Senior Project Officer both for LRIT, a data centre.

Health. If you are doctors or you are specialised in health issues, biology and so on, a job at the Swedish ECDC could be a possibility. These are the following workers required, from some experts in Microbiology, Outbreak Response and Environmental and Social Determinants of Communicable Diseases. Senior experts are required for Burden of Disease and Future Infections, Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Health Programmes, in Influenza, in Food and Waterborne Diseases, for EPIET Scientific Coordination and in Communicable Diseases.

Last, but not least, there are other five offers – a Human Resources Policy and Support Officer, a Legal Assistant, an entomologist, an Head of Section Crisis Management and Business Continuity and a Scientific Officer in Sexually Transmitted Infections.

Aviation. From April to May. From Tuesday 30 to Saturday 2. EASA’s website – an European agency based in Cologne, Germany, – is full of job offers with one referring to a Maintenance Training Section Manager.

The ECHA – European Chemicals Agency – is searching a Legal Officer for Procurement. Here there are the vacancy notice, the application guide, the application registration form and the application form both in pdf and word format. The closing time for this call will be May 4, Helsinki time in Finnland, where the office is based.

From Finland to the UK. The EMEA recruits four kinds of workers: an assistant for its Communications and Networking Unit, a scientific administrator at the Unit for the Post-Authorisation Evaluation of Medicines for Human Use, an administrator at the Unit for the Post-Authorisation Evaluation of Medicines for Human Use and an assistant at the Unit for the Post- Authorisation Evaluation of Medicines for Human Use. The place of work will be London at Canary Wharf and the closing date for applying is Wednesday, May 6.

Pizzas. If you can cook pizzas and you are in London, then there are some restaurants that you can address to for a job. Like the Echo Restaurants that cook sourdough pizzas in Clapham or Chiswick or Franco Manca whose speciality is the organic Neapolitan sourdough pizza in Brixton. An obvious choice could be Pizza Hut with its ninety restaurants in London (Queensway and more). Now it is searching for a Restaurant Team Member and Team Leader and a Delivery Team Member and Team Leader.

Two years experience for every role (salad bar, sandwiches, desserts and puddings, grill bar, pasta bar, pizza bar) are required for an Head Chef of the Staff Dining in London. The salary will be 30.000 pounds and you may apply here. If you wish an higher salary, then 35.000 pounds could be a possibility for an aspirant Executive Chef in London who has cooking background. Warsaw. Same deadline for two posts of Junior Research Officer at the Frontex in Poland, the European agency that deals with the external borders.

22.05.10 – The Hague. Two posts at the Eurojust in The Hague, the Netherlands. You could work for the EU’s Judicial Cooperation Unit as Security Officer or Fire, Safety and Security Officer. The closing date is today.
