01.12.2008 - There was a lot of water in Venice. Here’s the “Historic Center of Venice Flooded” as an American newspaper – the New York Times – refers. More or less the same text in the British Guardian and another English newspaper, The Telegraph, gives some advice for travellers. Bbc News uses some photos or titles “Venice is hit by serious flooding” and Cnn “Parts of Venice neck deep in flood water” or AlJazeera “Venice hit by severe flooding”. Instead, the Huffington Post chooses “Venice Hit By Worst Flooding In More Than 20 Years” and Euronews “Flooding alert in Venice”.
