Simply Red will be on tour in the UK in Scotland, Wales and Britain. In Scotland they will be in Glasgow (Braehead Arena, 24 March, and the Clyde Auditorium, 6 April). In Wales the only city will be Cardiff (Cardiff International Arena, 26 March).
In Britain they will also be in Sheffield (Sheffield Arena, 27 March), Birmingham (LG Arena, 28 March), and along the south coast in Bournemouth (Bournemouth International Centre, 30 March) and Brighton (Brighton Centre, 31 March), but also in the capital, London (the O2 Arena on April, 2 and 3), and in Manchester (M.E.N. Arena, 5 April). Other concerts will be held in Newcastle (Metro Radio Arena, 7 April), and Nottingham (Trent FM Arena, 9 April).
Another “group” of concerts will start on July 22 at the Sandown Park in Esher, UK. Liverpool will be covered three days later at the Liverpool Echo Arena for “Summer Pops”. Then the Newmarket Racecourse follows at Newmarket on July 31 and next month will start on the first day of August in London at the Kenwood House. One day later the Isle of Wight will follow at the Osborne House and August 15 will be another chance for their fans in Newbury for the same Course. Erinnert ihr an den Pannen im Atomkraftwerk Krümmel? Hamburgs Bürgermeister von Beust (CDU) sagte der »Süddeutschen Zeitung«, dass es »Schluss mit lustig« sei. Er hat auch eine Gesellschaft mit Entzug der Betriebserlaubnis gedroht. Gute Lösung eurer Meinung nach oder nicht?
Und seid ihr nicht mehr für AKW wie der Politiker von der CDU? »Bisher ging ich immer davon aus, dass Kernkraftwerke zuverlässig Strom liefern. Das ist nun offenkundig nicht so, mit schweren Folgen für die Stadt.«

02.04.09 Great… The famous songwriter Leonard Cohen will be in Austin, Texas, on April 2nd, at the Michael and Susan Dell Hall at Long Centre. His next tour dates wil be on April 19 in Vancouver at the GM Place and on April 21 in Victoria at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Cohen will also sing in Washington at the WaMu Theatre on the 22nd and then he will return to Canada where he will be to the Rexall Place of Edmonton on the 25th and at Calgary on the 26th at the Jack Singer Concert Hall. The last dates of April will be in Saskatoon at the Credit Union Centre and in Winnipeg at the MTS Centre respectively on April 28 and 30.

Lewis and the group. New tour dates for Huey Lewis & The News from this April to September 2009. The group will be on April, 4 in the USA at Pullman, in the State of Washington. They will play at the “Beasley Performing Arts” at the Washington State University and more dates will follow from June 10. - Huey Lewis & The News, I Want A New Drug
The EMF. From Huey Lewis and The News to the EMF, the British band famous for the hit “Unbelievable”. They will play at a festival – the Secret Garden Party – in Huntingdon on Sunday, 26 July. Maybe you just know it, but I felt surprised to know that Huntingdon is a British town in Cambridgeshire, East Anglia, and it is the birth place of Oliver Cromwell, the famous historical figure and politician of the 17th century.
The Kings and the EMF. But let’s turn to the music again and before Lewis and the News and the EMF, there is another group on the stage, the Kings of Leon, who will be tomorrow in Holland – Amsterdam – at the MHM venue and on 23 and 26 in Germany, respectively in Berlin and Cologne (at the Columbiahalle and The Palladium). In March they will be in Australia and New Zealand and in the next months in Canada, the USA, the UK, Ireland and Spain.
In April they will be at the Agganis Arena of Boston for two days on 18 and 19 and at the Air Canada Centre of Toronto, in Canada, on 21. Then they will return to the States at the Palumbo of Pittsburgh one day later and at the Patriot Center of Fairfax three days later. In the last four dates of the month the tour will reach the Spectrum of Philadelphia, the Constant Convocation Centre of Norfolk, the Koka Booth Amphitheatre of Raleigh and the Bojangles’ Coliseum of Charlotte respectively on April 25, 27, 28 and 30.

Among the titles you may also read words like “Queen of the Supermarket” (who will she be?), “Kingdom of Days”, “Surprise Surprise” and “The Last Carnival”. As for the result, it is you who will judge if the work is energetic. “Working On A Dream” will be released in three days. Green Day. New video, lightly violent, for the Americanpunk band (the voice and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, the bassist Mike Dirnt and the drummer Tré Cool) from the “Transformers” soundtrack.
Their album’s title is “21st Century Breakdown” and they will begin their new tour in Seattle at the Key Arena on July, 3rd. One day later they will be in Canada, in Vancouver, at the GM Place, in both cases with the group The Bravery. Among the other countries there are also Portugal with Lisbon on September 28 (Atlantico Pavilion) and Spain with Madrid one day later at the Palacio de Deportes de la Comunidad and Barcelona on October 1 at the Palau Sant Jordi. The European dates also include Oslo in Norway on October 12 at the Spectrum and Rotterdam in the Netherlands at the Ahoy. In Belgium they will be in Antwerp on October 17 at the Sportpalais and in the UK in Glasgow two days later at the SECC. The unique Irish date will be in Dublin on October 21 at the O2, while the first Australian date will be in Perth on December 4 at the Burswood Dome. New Zealand will be the last country in Auckland on December 19 at the Vector Arena. Please consider that there are other dates in other cities, but they are a lot and I will write more in the next months…
Nine Inch Nails. A good news for everybody and not only for the Nine inch Nails fans. Their album “The Slip” may be downloaded free through this link. The group will be in New Zealand and Australia next month starting from Auckland on February 17 at the Vector Arena. Will I write the next dates lately?
