Simply Red will be on tour in the UK in Scotland, Wales and Britain. In Scotland they will be in Glasgow (Braehead Arena, 24 March, and the Clyde Auditorium, 6 April). In Wales the only city will be Cardiff (Cardiff International Arena, 26 March).
In Britain they will also be in Sheffield (Sheffield Arena, 27 March), Birmingham (LG Arena, 28 March), and along the south coast in Bournemouth (Bournemouth International Centre, 30 March) and Brighton (Brighton Centre, 31 March), but also in the capital, London (the O2 Arena on April, 2 and 3), and in Manchester (M.E.N. Arena, 5 April). Other concerts will be held in Newcastle (Metro Radio Arena, 7 April), and Nottingham (Trent FM Arena, 9 April).
Another “group” of concerts will start on July 22 at the Sandown Park in Esher, UK. Liverpool will be covered three days later at the Liverpool Echo Arena for “Summer Pops”. Then the Newmarket Racecourse follows at Newmarket on July 31 and next month will start on the first day of August in London at the Kenwood House. One day later the Isle of Wight will follow at the Osborne House and August 15 will be another chance for their fans in Newbury for the same Course. The date in Thailand will be at the Impact Arena of Bangkok on the 1st of February. Then they will go more northern to Sweden for a concert at the Annex of Stockholm and to Finland at the Hartwall of Helsinki respectively on April 26 and 28. In lingua tedesca con sottotitoli italiani, di una regista che non conosco – Franziska Buch – ed introdotto da un’altra persona che forse conosco, Julia Ernst. Naturalmente non si paga per entrare e la proiezione ha luogo nella sala Wenders dei Cantieri culturali della Zisa (in via Paolo Gili 4). Non dimenticate, peraltro, che la proiezione avviene due giorni prima della «Giornata europea delle lingue», che si terrà sabato ventisei settembre.
30.09.08 Detto da uno che non sa di cosa si tratti, chissà come sarà la proiezione domani primo ottobre del film «Auf wieder sehen, Franziska!» – «Arrivederci, Franziska!» - al Goethe Institut di Palermo. Il film della rassegna «La deutsche vita» sarà proiettato in tedesco con sottotitoli in italiano per un omaggio (alle 18.30, con ingresso gratuito e ovviamente ai Cantieri culturali della Zisa di via Gili 4) al regista teutonico Helmut Käutner. Il film del ‘41 – in bianco e nero e con una durata di circa un’ora e mezza – racconta di una storia d’amore ambientata fra il ’32 e la seconda guerra mondiale fra la figlia di un professore e un reporter. Per chi di voi ama, invece, la musica sono previsti prossimamente concerti di musica jazz, elettronica e contemporanea all’istituto tedesco.

In quest’ultimo caso il bando si rivolge a chi è in possesso di laurea almeno triennale (o formazione professionale adeguata), buona conoscenza di una lingua comunitaria e dell’inglese e soddisfacente di un’altra oltre che esperienza nel settore. Sappiate che c’è un viaggio, non molto turistico, di Atlantide per uno speciale «Muro di Berlino» oggi, lunedì nove novembre, fino alle otto di sera su una tv nazionale. Ci dovrebbero essere la porta di Brandeburgo, la prigione della Stasi ed i cosiddetti «memorial dell’Olocausto» e «Checkpoint Charlie». Chiedo a chi c’è stato: come sono? Inoltre, vi ricordo che si possono votare questi luoghi turistici, più sotto per il mio blog. Se non ci sono, aggiungeteli per favore.
08.11.09 Il muro di Berlino – vedere anche sotto – a Regioneuropa di Raitre (oggi, domenica otto novembre, intorno alle dodici meno un quarto). Fra gli altri temi anche il progetto europeo Therecord – spero si chiami così – e la grande distribuzione in Europa o gli eventi culturali continentali ed il cosiddetto pedaggio unico autostradale, di cui dovrebbe occuparsi la Commissione europea.

Alle 17.30 su Sat2000 si discute di Europa nel corso della trasmissione Mosaico. Alle 12.05 gestione dei rifiuti tema di Formato famiglia della stessa emittente (inutile dirvi – l’ho fatto molte volte in questo testo – che il modo di vedere Sat2000 è indicato più sotto). 17.05.09 Gli allevamenti da macello al centro oggi, domenica 17 maggio, della nuova puntata di Report. Ieri mi sono dimenticato di riferirvi del concerto per l’Europa dalla Reggia di Caserta con i giovani dell’Accademia di Santa Cecilia insieme alla direttrice d’orchestra Nicoletta Conti. Oggi, peraltro, c’è come ogni domenica La sacca del diavolo, un settimanale di musica popolare alle 19.50 su Radio Popolare (che si può seguire anche su internet e scusate il gioco di parole). In programma anche una classifica musicale particolare su RedTv. Ma eccovi alcuni programmi di ieri.
16.05.09 Clericus Cup e Csi – Centro sportivo italiano – temi oggi, sabato 16 maggio, della puntata di Sport2000, programma dell’emittente Sat2000 (vedere sotto per le modalità di ricezione e vi dico anche che il Csi è su Mogulus). Maggiori particolari su altri programmi nel corso della giornata ed, intanto, eccovi altri film, concerti, eccetera trasmessi nel corso di questi mesi. Vorrei scrivervi prima, tuttavia, che il cantante Claudio Baglioni e lo scrittoreOhran Pamuk saranno ospiti di un programma televisivo, intorno alle 20 di stasera. Se vorrete leggere in italiano i libri di Pamuk, allora perché non andare in qualche biblioteca italiana?
Successivamente, Alberto Angela parlerà ad Ulisse di tsunami, del bombardamento di Dresda nel ‘45 e di San Lorenzo a Roma; su La7 un western e su Sat2000 Stadium@tv alle 20.30 ed in replica domani – domenica 17 maggio alle 12.20 – con una maratona in Israele e le elezioni al Coni, Comitato olimpico nazionale italiano. In programma anche le immagini di un triathlon (corsa, bici e nuoto) organizzato per il trasporto della cosiddetta fiaccola paolina che è passata attraverso la Sicilia e poi altre parti d’Europa.
14.05.09 Serata di film oggi, 14 maggio, su due canali televisivi nazionali. La7 trasmetterà, infatti, alle 21.10 il film Philadelphia di Jonathan Demme con Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington ed Antonio Banderas e Raitre Armageddon allo stesso orario del regista Michael Bay con Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck, Liv Tyler. Ecco la canzone del boss Bruce Springsteen interpretata per la colonna sonora di Philadelphia. Vi piace o magari forse no?
Alle 18.45 – sempre di oggi, giovedì 14 maggio, – Sat2000 si occuperà inoltre, della Fiera del libro di Torino. Coordinate su questa emittente televisiva un po’ più sotto ed altri riferimenti televisivi nelle prossime righe, ma lasciatemi dire ancor prima che il professor Nicola Tranfaglia è ospite in seconda serata di un programma televisivo…

13.05.09 – Alessandro Safina e… Nuovo aggiornamento del 13 maggio per chi ama la musica con un concerto stasera trasmesso dal canale televisivo Sat2000 (vedere sotto come si può vedere la tv). Il concerto comincerà alle 21.30 all’anfiteatro romano di Bet’she an, vicino Nazareth, ed in programma c’è anche un finale con We Are The World in ebraico, arabo ed inglese. Nel corso della serata canteranno e suoneranno il cantautorepop Lucio Dalla (che interpreterà Henna e Caruso), il violinista Francesco D’Orazio, il coro dell’istituto Magnificat, il gruppo tedesco dei Gregorian (che dovrebbero proporre i brani Hymne e Moment of Peace), il tenore Alessandro Safina, il baritono Daniele Antonangeli e la Simphonet Raanana Orchestra.

Parteciperanno anche, in qualità di conduttori, il regista Giulio Base e l’attrice Moran Attias. Ci saranno, inoltre, alcuni ragazzi che danzeranno durante lo spettacolo Beresheet – In principio del gruppo Teatro Arcobaleno con il testo scritto da Angelica Edna Calò Livnè. Fra gli altri ospiti della serata anche il politico israeliano Shimon Peres, mentre tramite video interverranno il rabbino capo di Roma Riccardo Di Segni, l’imam della moschea di Roma Al Ghobaishi ed il cardinale Walter Kasper, presidente del «Pontificio consiglio per la promozione dell’unità dei cristiani».
Previsti anche giochi di luce e le esibizioni della cantante marocchino-egiziana Samira Said e dei gruppi Italian Quintet, Fresco Ensemble di Yoram Carmi, Gaya Band e Rockfour Band, un gruppo israeliano. Sul palco dovrebbero esserci anche il coro di un istituto, il Magnificent Institute.
L’esibizione sarà trasmessa in collaborazione con l’emittente Channel 1 Israel, la televisione musicale di una rivista scientifica ed un centro televisivo. Il concerto è stato organizzato in occasione della visita del papa in Israele e godrebbe dell’alto patronato della presidenza del Consiglio dei ministri e del Comune di Roma. Eccovi, peraltro, un altro appuntamento di Sat 2000 ed altri programmi televisivi, film, eccetera prima di alcuni riferimenti (vedere fine testo).
Da ricordare anche un’altra trasmissione in onda stasera, mercoledì 13 maggio, e degna di nota. Si tratta della puntata dedicata al commissario Luigi Calabresi del programma di Raidue La storia siamo noi (in programmazione dalle 23.20).
I telefilm. Aggiornamento a questo testo oggi, 8 maggio, per chi di voi ama i telefilm. Stasera alle 22.35 potrete seguirein rete (qualora lo vogliate, come dice qualcuno) una puntata del programma Il grande talk dal Telefilm Festival di Milano. Vi indico la rete perché il segnale analogico non è diponibile in tutta Italia e se vi trovate, ad esempio, con soltanto la tv analogica in certe zone della provincia di Agrigento o di quella di Palermo, non c’è nulla da fare. Per tutti gli altri ci sono, invece, alcune tv locali che trasmettono i programmi di Sat2000 o il digitale terrestre (ad Agrigento città, ad esempio, tramite il ripetitore di Villaseta). Europee e… Stasera, giovedì 23 aprile, sono ospiti di Otto e mezzo (La7, 20.30) due candidati alle Europee, David Sassoli (Pd) ed Elisabetta Gardini (Pdl). Dopo alle 21.10 il filmPomodori verdi fritti alla fermata del treno. Dalle 23.30 uno dei canali televisivi nazionali trasmette un programma che si occupa di terremoti, compreso quello del Belice del ‘68 che riguardò Menfi, Santa Margherita, Montevago, Sambuca ed alcuni comuni del Trapanese. Su Raitre – 21.10 – c’è anche Ufficiale e gentiluomo. E sabato su La7 Rocky IV alle 21.10. Ecco altri programmi, film e fiction in tv passati o futuri.
Report (Rai tre) si sta occupando stasera – domenica 19 aprile, prima serata – di scuole italiane. La prossima settimana dovrebbe occuparsi di sanità. Mercoledì 22 aprile Exit, programma La7, si occupa dalle 21.10 di due temi. Il secondo riguarda i parlamentari europei, il primo la criminalità organizzata al Nord. Interverranno il procuratore nazionale antimafia, Pietro Grasso, il politico della Lega nord Roberto Castelli ed Antonio di Pietro, fondatore e dirigente più importante di Italia dei valori. Il 26 e 27 aprile, inoltre, Rai uno trasmetterà la fiction David Copperfield, tratta da un notissimo romanzo ottocentesco di Charles Dickens.

08.10.09 I know that Barack Obama is under pressure for his decisions concerning the health system, but there is another reason to criticise him… Why no reactions by Greenpeace and WWF against Obama and his government that would let Westinghouse go on with Italian policy for – improbable? – nuclear energy? No nuclear energy in Italy is good as in Denmark although Italy is not Denmark… And what about Steven Chu, US energy secretary, who is behaving as a bad politician from this point of view? I am not suggesting that the Republicans are better, but some Democrats are not good.

Furthermore, there was a tv program in Italy that found serious problems in managing nuclear waste in Italy or reports that were not written in a good way… Without considering a ship that was sunk by ‘ndrangheta, the mafia in Calabria, near an Italian coast… Or even a mountain that has been found radioactive in Italy…
Against? I am sure Barack Obama will be against the interest of Westinghouse having to do with the possible – or impossible – nuclear energy project in Italy. Maybe there will be no more nuclear energy produced in Italy…
The Observer. I have read an article by Oliver Morgan and the Observer of Sunday 3 July 2005. It reads: “Last week, BNFL confirmed it was to sell its Westinghouse reactor design business, and senior government officials believe BNG, BNFL’s decommissioning and operations business, is incapable of winning work on UK sites in future without a partner or new owner”.
You may also read the following sentence in that article. “A damning internal report into a major leak of radioactive liquid at British Nuclear Fuels’ Thorp reprocessing plant at Sellafield has found that management was complacent and that the incident was not detected for eight months”. Did everything happen that way?
Another sentence reads: “Thorp has been shut down since detection of the leak, and senior figures at the NDA believe it should not reopen”. How is the situation now?
