For the first time it opens today in Bivona, a town near Agrigento (South Sicily), the office of an association that offers assistance against the mafia and its bribes. The official opening of “Libere terre” – “Free Land” – will take place at 10 in a cinema of the town.
“But working in this land is so difficult?”. That is what Ignazio Cutrò, a building contractor in South Sicily, writes. He has reported damages to his machines against unknown persons to the police and adds in his blog in Italian: “Then somebody surely thinks about me and is close to me in the night?!?!”. He doesn’t intend to surrender himself, he wants to go on with his still and resolute fight.
